At 4pm PST on September 15th, 2007 millions of people across the world united their voices to create the world's largest synchronized Global OM, uniting over 350 Earthdance locations in 60 countries. This magic moment was the highlight of the 11th annual Earthdance International peace festival, and it was the first time in recorded history that global participants attuned to a special specific frequency that is derived from the natural sound of the Earth itself. The Prayer for Peace - Global OM can be downloaded for free.
10 Minutes. Every Sunday. Envision A New America. This is where citizens of the world and United States citizens regularly meet in order to envision and co-create an ideal 'New America'. Tremendous changes have recently occurred in the United States, and they will continue to accelerate in a positive way. We all now have an opportunity to contribute to this new wave of progress by joining together for the creation of an ideal 'New America'. Truthout is a full-service news agency dedicated to establishing a powerful, stable voice for independent journalism. The core of our mission is educational. We believe the biggest impediment to responsible decision-making is lack of information. So we provide citizens with access to reader-supported news instead of advertiser-supported news. Our direction is one of social progress as we attempt to shed light on issues of vital interest to the community such as health care, the environment, international relations and human rights.
